About

A Passion for Photography

I first picked up a ‘proper’ camera when I was presented with a Nikkormat for my 16th Birthday. Since then, I have been consumed with the desire to take photographs and to create memories.

Over the years the kit has changed and the subjects varied, but the passion remains – to try and capture the most elusive of subjects in the best possible manner.

The more difficult the challenge, the more rewarding the success

For me, the thrill is not just in experiencing the location or seeing the subject, it is the challenge that has been undertaken in order to capture the image. The more difficult the challenge, the more rewarding the success.

As a professional photographer, I’ve been lucky enough to see many incredible sites and to visit some truly wonderful locations. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph penguins in Antarctica, wolves & bears in Yellowstone, Whales in Mexico amongst others. Wildlife photography isn’t the ‘day job’ – that’s Event Photography. Visiting, exploring and photographing wild locations is what keeps me going.
